Kayla is a Chicago-based actress. Up next, she will be returning to the Fireside Theatre for Guys and Dolls, running February 27 - April 12. 


Chicago credits include The Wizard of Oz (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), South Pacific (Drury Lane Theatre), Can-CanBilly ElliotLittle Me (Porchlight Music Theatre), PippinMary Poppins (Mercury Theater Chicago), Anything Goes, Gypsy, and Mame (Music Theater Works, formerly Light Opera Works).


She is the creator of Call Me Elizabeth, a solo performance piece focusing on the early life of Elizabeth Taylor.


In addition to her stage credits, Kayla has worked in development, marketing, and finance for Goodman Theatre and Writers Theatre. She is a consultant for Artistic Fundraising Groupproviding grant writing and fundraising services for various nonprofits. Passionate about the arts and creative expression, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing & Editing from Youngstown State University and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
